Our Story
Little Discoveries was born in the basement of Ms. Jessica's home in 1999. She started with six children and 20 years later, Little Discoveries has grown into two locations. What began as a small childcare/daycare is now a center-based educational program with multiple locations. Today, Little Discoveries is caring for hundreds of children and our mission remains the same - to provide the highest quality of child care and education for all children.
Our Fearless Leader
Hello there, I'm Jess, the founder of Little Discoveries. I hold a BA in Early Education and Administration, as well as a Child Development Associate and a Director Credential, which are nationally recognized resources for building leadership. I am also a certified nutrition and life coach and I enjoy mentoring my staff in various areas of life. I also love solving problems. In 2022, I founded We R Bananas, a cafe that offers "healthy fast food", to help educate children and families on nutrition. The proceeds from We R Bananas goes directly to Little Discoveries in an effort to financially support a broken industry, provide extra enrichment programs for the child and offer higher wages for our teachers.

These expectations are embedded into our foundations and the staff models them, as a result.
Beyond that, our company’s core values pave the way for a fun and positive environment. Having fun is a MUST! It's like a birthday party every day - we're singing, dancing, and crafting are our things...
But don't worry, we know being goofy is not for everyone. Many of our teachers can be found cuddled up reading stories or building blocks, whatever floats your boat. Being a team player is a no-brainer, whether you're sharing ideas with each other or physically rocking a baby when you're a preschool teacher. Passion is in our soul when it comes to children. We love everything about them, from kissing scrapes to celebrating their milestones. And we love to come up with new ideas to foster their development.
